1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Fiction.show website ("the Service"), operated by Novae Caelum Studios, LLC ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms cover the website only. The Fiction.show Studio application is licensed separately under our End User License Agreement (EULA).

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and be at least 16 years old. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. Author accounts require manual approval and a valid website. We reserve the right to deny or revoke author status at any time.

3. Waitlists

You may join waitlists for upcoming products, such as the app or courses, by submitting your email address. Joining a waitlist is a request to be contacted about that product; you can ask to be removed at any time. How we handle this data is described in our Privacy Policy.

4. User Content

Authors retain ownership of their content. By uploading content to Fiction.show, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute that content on the Service. You are solely responsible for the content you upload, including ensuring you have the rights to share it.

Fiction.show is a platform for AI-creative fiction. Content must not violate any law, infringe the intellectual property or privacy rights of others, or contain harmful, abusive, or illegal material.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Upload content you do not have the right to share
Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other accounts
Interfere with, disrupt, or place undue load on the Service
Use bots, scripts, or automated means to access, scrape, or submit data without our permission
Circumvent security, rate-limiting, or bot-protection measures

6. Video & Third-Party Content

Fiction.show embeds video hosted on third-party platforms (YouTube, Vimeo). We do not host video files directly. Authors are responsible for compliance with the terms of their video hosting platform. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

7. Courses

Educational courses offered through or alongside the Service may be subject to additional purchase terms presented at the time of sale. Course content is for your personal, non-commercial use unless stated otherwise.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, branding, and software, is owned by Novae Caelum Studios, LLC and protected by intellectual property laws. These terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these terms or for any reason at our discretion. You may delete your account at any time, which is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Novae Caelum Studios, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence apply.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
