End-User License Agreement

This End-User License Agreement ("Agreement") is a binding contract between you ("You") and Novae Caelum Studios, LLC("We," "Us"), the developer of Fiction.show Studio(the "App"). By installing, launching, or using the App, You agree to every term below. If You do not agree, do not install or use the App.

1. Alpha Software

The App is an alpha release, distributed to a limited group of testers for the purpose of feedback and iteration. You acknowledge and accept that:

• The App may contain bugs, defects, errors, incomplete features, and behaviors that change between builds.
• Features you rely on today may be removed, renamed, or redesigned in a future version.
• The App may cause loss of data, corruption of project files, unexpected crashes, or loss of generated work. You are solely responsible for backing up Your project folders.
• No stability, compatibility, or uptime guarantees are made.

The App is not production software and should not be used for workflows where any of the outcomes above would cause material harm to Your business or creative work.

2. Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) & Third-Party AI Costs

The App is a client that calls third-party AI providers — including (but not limited to) FAL, KIE, OpenRouter, and any additional providers integrated in future versions — using API credentials You provide. You acknowledge and agree that:

• You supply Your own API keys for every provider the App calls. We do not provide, proxy, or subsidize any API access.
• Every image, video, language-model, and audio generation performed in or triggered by the App is billed to Your account at the relevant provider. We do not see, track, or meter those charges.
• You are solely responsible for monitoring Your usage and spending at each provider. Features such as batch generation, auto-generation, and job queues can issue a large number of billable requests quickly. Review each provider's pricing before use.
• We are not liable for any charges, fees, overages, rate-limits, suspensions, or account actions incurred at any third-party provider as a result of Your use of the App — including accidental, unintended, or runaway usage.
• You are responsible for complying with each provider's Terms of Service, Acceptable Use Policy, content policies, and any export or content restrictions they enforce.

If You do not accept this responsibility, do not use the App.

3. Cost Estimates Displayed in the App

The App may display estimated costs in connection with generation actions, including (without limitation):

• Per-call cost estimates shown on agent approval cards before You confirm a generation.
• Running cost meters in the agent surface that accumulate estimated spend across a session.
• Reference pricing tables in the in-app Documentation.
• Any other cost-preview UI introduced in current or future versions.

You acknowledge and agree that:

• All cost figures displayed in the App are approximate estimates, not invoices. They are derived from third-party provider pricing pages, dashboards, and documentation as of the date the figures were captured. Provider pricing may have changed since.
• Provider rates change without notice. A figure that was accurate when captured may be stale by the time You see it. The authoritative price for any given call is the rate the provider applies on its own systems at the moment the call is billed — visible on Your provider dashboard or invoice.
• Per-call estimates do not include account-wide adjustments You may have configured at a provider (volume discounts, promotional credits, surge pricing, regional pricing differences, currency conversion, taxes, or fees). Your actual invoice may differ.
• The App does not see Your invoices. The cost meter sums the App's own estimates; it has no access to provider receipts and cannot reflect actual billing.
• We make no representation or warranty that any cost estimate displayed in the App is current, complete, or accurate. We are not liable for any decision You make in reliance on a displayed estimate, including any decision to proceed with a generation that turns out to cost more than the estimate showed.

You are responsible for verifying current pricing at the provider before running batches, autonomous workflows, or any operation where cost matters to You.

If a displayed estimate is materially wrong, please report it to us and continue to rely on Your provider dashboard as the source of truth.

4. Generated Content

• Ownership, licensing, and permitted uses of content generated by any AI provider are governed by that provider's terms, not by this Agreement.
• You are solely responsible for the prompts You submit, the references You upload, and the content You generate, store, publish, or distribute.
• You will not use the App to generate content that is illegal where You are located, that infringes third-party rights, or that violates any provider's content policy.

We make no claim of ownership over content You generate and no representation that such content is free of third-party claims.

5. License Grant

Subject to this Agreement, We grant You a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on devices You own or control, for Your own creative and professional work. You may not:

• Redistribute, resell, sublicense, or publish the App or its installers.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code, except to the extent such restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
• Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or attribution notices.

The App, including all source code, assets, and documentation, is the intellectual property of Novae Caelum Studios, LLC and its licensors.

6. Feedback

If You provide comments, suggestions, ideas, feature requests, bug reports, workflow notes, designs, prompts, examples, or other feedback about the App ("Feedback"), You acknowledge and agree that:

• Feedback is provided voluntarily and is not confidential.
• You grant Novae Caelum Studios, LLC a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, fully paid-up, transferable, and sublicensable license to use, copy, modify, adapt, publish, distribute, create derivative works from, commercialize, and otherwise exploit the Feedback for any purpose related to the App or Our business.
• We may use Feedback without restriction and without any obligation to compensate, credit, notify, or obtain further permission from You.
• You retain ownership of any original materials You submit as Feedback, but no rights are granted to You in the App, its features, products, services, or business activities that may use or incorporate that Feedback.

7. Data & Privacy

• The App runs entirely on Your local machine. Project data (scripts, prompts, generated images, generated videos, extracted frames, API keys, and settings) is stored locally in Your user profile and in the project folders You create.
• The App sends data directly from Your machine to the AI providers You configure — it does not route through Novae Caelum Studios, LLC servers.
• Novae Caelum Studios, LLC does not collect telemetry, analytics, or usage data from the App in this alpha release. Any diagnostic information You send Us (bug reports, screenshots, logs) is only what You voluntarily email.

You are responsible for reading and understanding the privacy policies of each AI provider You enable.

8. No Warranty

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, express or implied, including (without limitation) warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, or freedom from defects. We do not warrant that the App will meet Your requirements, operate without interruption, be error-free, or produce any particular result.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, Novae Caelum Studios, LLC and its contributors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages — including, without limitation:

• API charges, overages, or any third-party billing incurred through Use of the App.
• Any difference between cost estimates displayed by the App and the amounts actually billed by a third-party provider.
• Loss of data, loss of generated content, corruption of project files, or cost of recovery.
• Loss of revenue, profits, or business opportunity.
• Claims arising from content You generate, publish, or distribute.

This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory of liability (contract, tort, strict liability, or otherwise) and regardless of whether We have been advised of the possibility of such damages. In no event shall Our aggregate liability exceed the amount You paid Us for the App, which, for this alpha release, is zero.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Novae Caelum Studios, LLC, its officers, contributors, and licensors from any claim, loss, liability, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of:

• Your use or misuse of the App.
• Your violation of this Agreement.
• Content You generate, upload, or distribute using the App.
• Your violation of any third-party provider's terms, content policy, or applicable law.

11. Termination

This Agreement is effective until terminated. It terminates automatically if You breach any term. On termination, You must stop using the App and delete all copies in Your possession. Sections 2 (BYOK charges), 3 (Cost Estimates), 4 (Generated Content), 6 (Feedback), 8 (No Warranty), 9 (Limitation of Liability), and 10 (Indemnification) survive termination.

12. Changes to this Agreement

We may update this Agreement in future builds of the App. Continued use of the App after You are shown an updated version constitutes acceptance of that updated version. Prior versions of this document may be retained in the App's documentation for reference.
